Ramsey Canyon Preserve Ramsey Canyon is an ecological crossroads located within the Upper San Pedro River Basin in southeastern Arizona. The canyon harbors more then 170 species of birds, such as the painted redstarts and many hummingbirds, more then 400 species of plants, from tiny mosses to towering firs. Many species of animals inhabit Ramsey Canyon , such as mountain lions, canyon tree frogs, rattlesnakes and dozens of varieties of butterflies. |
